Enfield 1968 open air art show. The painting the two ladies are looking at, was sold two weeks later after a telephone phone call from an interested customer in Hadley wood. Most of the welsh paintings  from this exhibition went to Wales.
2010 This is my most recent Image.
I was born in Shepherds Bush, London, in 1938 and lived there for 25 years. When I married, I moved to Hertfordshire where I still live. I have been painting for 57 years, and have sold my work to individuals and to companies.  My paintings have been exhibited and sold through galleries at Liberties in London and Trading Places in Hertfordshire. Four of my paintings, which I have still kept, were selected for the Hammersmith Art exhibition in 1962,
Several of my paintings are inspired, following frequent visits and holidays in Wales.

Whilst at school, at the age of twelve, my art teacher arranged for me go to an art school, but due to a mix up, I was sent to a technical school instead. This proved to be good for me, as, after an accident in 1957, I realised that I wanted to work in the medical engineering field. This also allowed me to develop my own style of painting
Over the years I worked as a Medical Field Engineer on imaging systems, X-ray and C.T scanners.  Now I can concentrate on art.

Recently I have found that you can trace artists and engravers in my direct family line back to at least 1800. While on the Ancestry  web site I found  the daughter of my second cousin, who had  more family information. Her mother is an excellent artist. Since then I have found that several of my newly found relations are artists, so it seems that it is really in the genes.
